What is a CCG?
A Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is the name for the new health commissioning organisation which replaced Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in April 2013. Commissioning organisations are responsible for planning and buying of NHS healthcare across the City and Hackney to meet the needs of the local population.

Services We Commission
NHS City and Hackney CCG is responsible for commissioning healthcare services to meet the reasonable needs of patients registered with the City and Hackney general practices and unregistered patients living in the area, except for those services that the NHS Commissioning Board or local authorities are responsible for commissioning.
