City and Hackney GP Survey – thank you
The results of the national GP survey has been published by NHS England, combining responses from two surveys collated in July 2015 and January 2016
Thank you to everyone who took part in both surveys, your feedback is really important and will help our practices improve their services for you.
GP practices within City and Hackney compare favourably against the national average in relation to patient access including:
- Ease of getting through to the practice by phone – 73% of City and Hackney patients responded ‘very easy’ or ‘fairly easy’ when asked, ‘generally, how easy is it to get through to someone at your GP surgery on the phone?’ compared with 70% nationally
- Success in getting an appointment – 84% of City and Hackney patients responded ‘yes’ when asked ‘last time you wanted to see or speak to a GP or nurse from your GP surgery, were you able to get an appointment to see or speak to someone?’ – the national average is 85%
- Satisfaction with opening hours – 78% of City and Hackney patients responded ‘very satisfied’ or ‘fairly satisfied’ when asked ‘how satisfied are you with the hours that your GP surgery is open?’ compared with 76% nationally.
