NHS City and Hackney CCG would like to thank all those who attended our recent Commissioning Intentions Event on Wednesday 27 November 2013. We are really pleased with the turnout and are now collating all the feedback from the discussions that took place. We will be sharing the comments from the discussions as well as the plan for next steps with you. As well as publishing the information on our website we will be taking it to our Patient and Public Involvement Committee, our local Patient Participation Groups and GP Consortia for discussion and feedback.
The event was opened with speeches and presentations from:
The core of the event was based around the eight Programme Boards and how they plan to commission services for 2014-15. The presentation below highlights some of the comments that were made in each of the discussions around three key questions; what works well, what you would change and what success would look like. We will be publishing details on how your suggestions will be fed into the commissioning intentions for 2014-15 in due course.
In addition to taking part in the Programme Board discussions people had a chance to comment on the NHS Call to Action consultation. This consultation led by NHS England is about bringing together NHS staff, decision makers and most importantly the public, to discuss what the NHS should look like in the future. Your comments have been analysed and fed back to the NHE England where they will have an impact on strategic planning and decision making.
