CCG Managing Director
As the City and Hackney CCG’s Managing Director, David builds on a career dedicated to improving health and care services for local people and communities.
Joining the CCG in 2013 as a Programme Director before moving onto a Deputy Chief Officer role in 2016, David helped to boost primary care involvement in mental health care and support, while building strong and lasting partnerships with health organisations and providers to shape and improve the quality of services and support offered to residents.
Working across East London for over a decade, David was previously Head of Clinical Networks for NHS Newham Primary Care Trust (PCT) and reflecting a passion for supporting communities to shape their own local services, brought together an influential steering group including the Cabinet Office, Department of Health and NHS England to support the public sector and their work with local communities.
Educated in Cambridge, David remains a teaching associate for the University, is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.
