Remuneration Committee

The Remuneration Committee (RC) reviews all aspects of CCG staff remuneration, including GPs or others working for us on a sessional basis.  It provides appropriate scrutiny to any changes reviewed and reports its recommendation to the CCG Governing Body.  The Committee:

  • Examines and makes recommendations on the remuneration packages and other terms of service for members of the CCG Governing Body, Clinical Executive Committee and Clinical Leads and other GP and clinical remuneration / sessional rates to the Governing Body;
  • Makes recommendations to the Governing Body on any proposals for a new pay and remuneration framework for employees of the CCG;
  • Examines and makes recommendations on the remuneration and conditions of service of the CCG staff who are on Very Senior Manager (VSM) payscales to the Governing Body;
  • Considers and makes recommendations on the remuneration and terms and conditions as part of the appointment of the Accountable Officer and Chief Finance Officer to the Governing Body;
  • Makes recommendations on any severance payments of the Accountable Officer and Chief Finance Officer.
