NHS City and Hackney CCG would like to thank all those who attended our recent Comissioning Intentions Event on Wednesday 27 November 2013. We are really pleased with the turnout and are now collating all the feedback from the discussions that took place.
Moorfields eye hospital are planning to move their main London base hospital from Old Street to Kings Cross /Euston area in partnership with their research colleagues at the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. Public engagement activities and a consultation are currently taking place to collate people’s views and suggestions about the move.
A draft document published by NHS England details the London specific Primary Care Commissioning Intentions for 2014-15. The document highlights the commissioning intentions nationally and also explains what these mean on a London level, taking into consideration the unique context of commissioning services for the city’s growing and complex population.
NHS England’s National Medical Director Sir Bruce Keogh has announced a plan to establish seven day services across the NHS over the next three years. The changes will start from urgent care services and supporting diagnostics.
